ShowWatcher is an innovative app that lets you program up to thirty-two buttons to control Alcorn McBride show control, audio, video or lighting control products (or other devices that accept UDP commands) and then trigger them remotely from your Apple Watch. You can customize the label and UDP message associated with each button, and then choose the IP address and port number the messages are sent to. Once a command is sent, you can specify which Response Message to watch for, and even receive notifications depending upon how your script is written on your Alcorn McBride Show Controller. ShowWatcher lets you remotely trigger show control sequences from your Apple Watch for operational or maintenance purposes. For example, you can do lamp checks without having to go to the equipment room. Use it to create a custom, portable maintenance control panel. You can also use ShowWatcher as a simple Operator Control Console (OCC). Your host can be interacting with the audience in a personal way, and start the show without having to be near a console. ShowWatcher works particularly well with Alcorn McBride s Pro-Series Show Controllers. These embedded controllers feature an abundance of serial ports, dual Ethernet ports, linear timecode, real-time clock schedule and a rock solid multitasking operating system.
